Saw some Tom’s-style knockoff shoes at Charlotte Russe.

And it’s really been bothering me. These are clearly copies inspired by Tom’s. I mean, talk about defeating the original purpose of the campaign. Tom’s is a company built on charity and global awareness. The shoes were made intentionally simple and not overly trendy so that the message behind them would be what counted, not the style. But when there is popularity, trendiness follows, often to a fault. Buying Tom’s knockoffs at Charlotte Russe is so ridiculous and consumerist, it almost blows my mind. Educate yourself, pay an extra $20 for the real thing so that somebody who wouldn’t otherwise have had shoes gets a pair.

Oh hey, it’s me wearing a skirt as a shirt. Thanks, Target, for making a mini too short and forcing me to get creative.P.S. - Someday I will either a) clean my mirror or b) be not-lazy enough to take non-mirror pics.

A mermaid found a swimming lad,
Picked him up for her own,
Pressed her body to his body,
Laughed; and plunging down
Forgot in cruel happiness
That even lovers drown.
Leftish: Conservatives don’t give a shit about you until you reach “military age”.

Then they think you are just fine, just what they’ve been looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers. Pro-life, pro-life. These people aren’t Pro-Life, they’re killing doctors! What kind of pro-life is that? They’ll do anything they can to save a fetus,…
